Kato have announced a 9-car LNER Azuma today. They call out in the image about the correct internal bearings sets for the trailer cars. May 2024 release suggested.

A quick question, I know on the Project Updates part of the Revolution site it says (as of 31/1/23) that the next batch of Pendolinos is due this month. Is this still the case and if so will they be here in time for Ally Pally weekend to collect?

I know for certain that the set is not light bar ready as it has no interior and came out (in 2008) before Dapol introduced light bars with the 156 and 153s in 2009.

Took a picture of 009 at Paddington today looking patchy as anything with mismatching vinyls and with two names at the First class end? Anyone know why this is?
Was as the correct way around though, 5 80X at the time and only one was incorrect

Surely if Crossrail services were to go towards Dartford they could use the existing third rail. I remember reading it was in the design spec that the class 345 would be able to have the provision to retrofit the units with 750v DC. With a core running pattern to Abbey Wood, could the Dartford trains not just be a 2tph on the existing SE lines after Abbey Wood?

Is there as of yet any plans as to what the packaging is going to look like? Are the carriages going to be individually boxed as per Farish's style of multiple units or more of a bookset like Kato or Dapol?

Nice layout. In terms of future progress, and taking inspiration from the layout's own wiring, how about option (4): Upper level wagon repair depot somewhere in N London, lower level LUL lines using 3D printed stock.... you could add the distinctive 4th rail and lineside cable runs to give a sense of place....

Where is it set? Because that can affect what it could look like. I think either a girder or suspension bridge?

Received an email from HobbySearch Japan to say my 9 car LNER 800 has been delayed until June. Checking the Kato website it would seem so. Kato Production Schedule
