Class 37, by Accurascale
billywhizz replied to Accurascale Fran's topic in Accurascale / Irish Railway Models
I will be shocked and stunned if there isn’t a Scottish LLB 37/4 in the next announcement. Personally, I’m hoping for a Scottish LLB centre headcode 37/0. I already have the name plates and numbers for 37191 waiting! -

Have to agree with you. I think we are entering a new era of the hobby with manufacturers like Accurascale, Cavalex and Revolution knocking it out the park with finer detail, better technology, competitive pricing and great customer service giving the more established manufacturers a run for their money. Fingers crossed 043 arrives here next week completing delivery my order of 3 37’s (for now) Hoping for more 80’s Scottish examples in the next 37 announcement. Cheers. Bill. -

Hi Dave. I also have added bogie footsteps (can be seen on the previous posted photos) and the single body mounted footstep on the opposing ends which the Bachmann MK2F’s come with ready fitted. Apologies for the rubbish photo, you can just about make it out. Cheers, Bill. -

Hi Dave, great updates! The 101’s look fantastic. Re the ScotRail MK2z’s have you corrected the brake issue. The coaches were originally part of the Class 27 era push pull fleet and retained the disc brakes. I have removed the clasp brake shoes on mine and fitted Will’s Workbench CC02W disc brake inserts to the wheel sets. I also added CC07W brake disc inserts to my fleet of DBSO’s Cheers. Bill. -

Now you are talking…. The 2axle CO2 tank would fill a big gap in RTR wagon availability. Hmmm…. Scottish Distillers Grain Polybulk, Yes please!!! -
Looks great Graham. Very tidy!

Looks “right” now a catch point has been fitted on the loop. The 1st of my Accurascale 37’s arriving (just waiting on 043) has got the mojo going again so hoping to make a start on my West Highland project soon. Gutted I missed the WHR 100 event. Made to feel even worse after seeing the videos online. Looked like a great event. The heritage coaches look fantastic. I will get round to visiting one day!! Cheers. Bill. -

My wallet has just run off and is cowering in the corner of the room!! these really are the 37’s that keep on giving, 026 arrived last week. 027 due to arrive from Colletts Models tomorrow and possibly 043 coming the week after next! Looking forward to some more 1980’s Scottish announcements within the 500! -

Big thanks to Steve @55020 for sharing the updated CV’s. Just set mine to what you have suggested and works a treat!! Thanks again for your help. Regards. Bill. -
Hi Rob. My 1st Accurascale 37 has now arrived I found without the sound on, it crawls away at speed step 1 (NCE Powercab) beautifully. However, with the sound on, the loco won’t move until speed step 8 then accelerates harshly. Once moving I can throttle back to a crawl at speed step 1 I have turned the volume down in case it was a voltage issue but no difference. Might be worth checking yours without the sound on to see how it accelerates? Just a warning, I am a complete DCC numpty so this might be something stupid I have done!!!!

Great weekend helping @PeteScR operate his layout “Brunswick Yard” Huge thanks to Guy and the Showcase team for putting on a fantastic exhibition. It was great to catch up with so many people I have got to know over the years, many of whom I haven’t seen for several years. Cheers. Bill.

I’ve got 026 and 043 on order directly from Accurascale. I did ask for the order to be split and the sound chips I ordered last month to be combined in the parcel with 026. 027 is coming from Colletts in Devon, not expecting it to arrive until later next week. -

Whereas I’m still watching my phone like a hawk for the dispatch email. I know I will be one of the very last as I amended my order in Jan ‘22 -

Will the speaker retaining clips be available to order on the website? I have 2x 37’s to fit Accurascale sound chips and speakers to. Cheers. Bill. -

Thanks @Accurascale Fran. I guess when I modified my original order (which meant cancelling and creating a new order) and having the initial W for both 1st name and surname means I am at the bottom of the dispatch list!!😂 trying to be patient while reading all the positive posts from those who have received theirs!! Cheers. Bill. -

Hi @Accurascale have all the pre-orders from the latest batch delivered now been dispatched? -

Got all excited earlier when I got a dispatch email only to find it was the screw couplings I ordered a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully next few days and 37026 will be heading this way along with a couple of sound decoders. 37027 is on order with a retailer so possibly next week. -
Will be there this year helping @PeteScR with his layout “Brunswick Yard” I missed the exhibition last due to a diary clash (1st DEMU Showcase missed since 2002) so very much looking forward to the weekend.

Oh darn it! Was hoping they would be dispatched this week while I was off work. 5 days in the office next week so looks like I am going to have some explaining to do when I get home. Thankfully, I’ve used the combine orders facility so it will hopefully only one parcel from Accurascale with loco and sound decoders and one from Colletts Models. Watched / listened to a video earlier of the original 37 sound chip, sounds fantastic! Looking forward to them arriving soon! -

Morning @Accurascale Can you confirm what running numbers have arrived? I have contacted support@ to split my 37 order but the reply indicates 37026 “Shapfell” has not arrived yet. Kind regards. Bill. -
