    I always like a little tail traffic, makes the layout more interesting. An odd brown van or milk. But yes, that's the downside with the design of the railmotor, it's pushed the buffers out. Maybe I'll also know for real this month 😀

    Oh... Both my Mogul and coaches are on order from Rails... That could be one interesting box! Can I add.. Kernow probably didn't need more stock to ship right now!

    Can you get a continuity tested from the wheels to the motor connectors? That's where I'd start. Then as Phil said, get a battery to the 2 motor wires/connectors.

    Headed down today with my son. Parking was crazy, but lucky that the road parking permit area didn't apply on a Sunday. His favourite was the lego layout.... Loads to see, spent a good 4hrs. And didn't spent too much, I did two passes of the Dart casting stand.. I need to do some painting!

    Progress wasn't as much as I'd like. We had a nice trip to the Southampton Model Railway show. Lots to see and a few odds and ends for the layout bought.. More things to paint basically! Cutting into the plaster was harder than I expected... life would be easy if we planned more.. But boring..

    The railcar passengers look really nice! I looked at them when I was at Warley, but I've already got a backlog of people to paint, so spending a lot more on people felt silly.. Or maybe a railcar with no driver is more silly.. ;)

    The Castle has been slowly progressing.. I want to cut it into the plaster.. Then the kids are deperate to get some grass down..

    I'm patiently waiting for my steam railcar... I'm sure she will be here soon. A short milk pauses at the junction, maybe it's waiting for the steam railcar too....
