£40 cheaper than SLW I think will sway a few people. It does look good in the video.

Strange that there’s only one banger blue 25/1 from what I can see and that’s weathered .

Am I right in thinking that Bachmann 46 was missing an exhaust port ?
Obviously no problem to fit
I know the early class 44 release was missing it

Hi folks, bit of a long shot this. After weeks of running my large logo 56120, I noticed I am missing the front step under the buffer beam. I made a video that I posted on my you tube channel almost as soon as I got the model and I can see it was missing from the start. hoping someone from Cavalex in here could maybe tell me if there's a chance I could get this small part. (and no I don't have a 3d printer)
Thanks all
I had the same thing, mine was stuck in the foam that covers the tray. -
Rails have had a stock boost in their DC ones including the twin pack, maybe unpaid for pre orders?
-
No cards in any of my 4 DC ones just the booklet.

My wish list for batch 2
56089 in EW&S as it’s my machine and was the first one in that livery
56104 in coal sector with Immingham depot plaques as she survived to the end
56054 in Transrail
Any Dutch example and/or Dutch Transrail
56004 or 6 in blue as again like with 104 carried the livery late so an excuse to run it with EWS 56018 and any later examples.

Finally got round to having a play with my DCC fitted one from rails, full lighting control and each fan on a separate function.
( YouTube video as file is too large to attach!)The noise isn’t the loco as each fan stops and starts it is my iPad running WiThrottle as I activate each function.
Run all my 4 in today and each one is like a Rolls Royce!!

I'm still waiting for mine as well. I pre-ordered a sound fitted 56008 mid May (different chip if I understand you correctly) . I'm from NZ so waiting for their email confirming postage costs.
I also emailed to check I was still on their list as Rails were advertising the Class 56's had arrived. They replied with "... once this has been worked out we'll be able to contact you." I think the response you got was a bit odd as a few days ago they were advertising that Sound fitted and DCC ready versions were available in store.
Anyway, crossing fingers they'll be sent through soon - they look really good. I just can't wait!
My 56055 DCC fitted turned up today with my other 2. Haven’t had chance to run it yet as I’m in my way to work. I’m off Sunday night so will have a test session Sunday afternoon when I wake up.

Received the first of my 4 just now and WOW!!! Absolutely stunning and I can’t really add anymore than what has been added here allready.
Only minor gripe is a guardrail has come adrift and ended up in the foam covering the loco and lost some paint. -

No, I emailed and they said the silent fitted version they're having to fit themselves so it's taking a while
If I’d have known that I’d have ordered a standard dc one!!! I’ll ring them tomorrow and hopefully swap it for a dc one.

I preordered 008 and 093 from them in 2022 and heard nothing from them, while others were ordering and getting them the next day so I emailed them yesterday to ask if orders were just sent out in random order... I've not had a reply to the email but a few hours later they took my money and today they were picked up by DPD. I was waiting to see them in the "flesh" to see how good they were before ordering any others but they were taking so long and selling out everywhere that i ordered 120 and 023 from two different places instead.
Took my money last Wednesday and still heard nothing since.

Ordered 56008 with Rails at lunchtime today and 3 and a half hours later it was in a DPD van.
Nice, they took payment for my 3 on Wednesday and I haven’t heard a thing since!

I heard my credit card scream this afternoon so I assumed rails had took the balance for my 3.
Hopefully they’ll arrive Friday/Monday and I can have a play!! Erm thorough evaluation I mean before I’m back on nights next Wednesday.
The pics on rails have only heightened the anticipation.

Surprised nobody has walked in and purchased over the counter and posted on here. I’m passing by tomorrow, wonder if they are for sale in the physical shop yet?I’d ring ahead and check they are there as their warehouse is not part of the shop I believe.

Hi Wayne, it's not a rivals magazine, it may be Hornby mag but it is actually nothing to do with Hornby. It's kind of like a vacuum cleaner mag calling itself Hoover magazine. Anyway we digress, we are planning to make the chips available as aftermarket upgrades but have not nailed down the details as yet. The speaker is the new ESU passive radiator sized the same as an EM1and has been made available commercially recently.
I was referring to a rival magazine to this forums owner lol the Hornby 56 isn’t even close to being a rival in any department!!!
One more quick question, looking on rails of Sheffield’s site they have DCC fitted examples of your 56s.
Will these be arriving with the main batch and what’s the specification for DCCing a DC version? 6 function decoder etc
