The Derby photos were all taken from the extreme northern end of the platforms.   I didn't go there very often and I don't remember ever leaving the station when I had a camera with me.

Were these shots taken on the bridge over the Derwent? seem to remember train spotting there in the late 50's, on a Sunday afternoon it was round to the back of the works to our "gate" to see what was happening in the workshops, even made it to the roundhouse 1 day!
