  1. I do seem to be having some communication issues over the last nine months with DC kits. Still trying to seek an answer in regards to an order from last year.

Hard to resolve from the other side of the world.

    Cheers

  2. Hi,

I have to post my experience here too. Pleased to hear that my order from early last year for 32 PFA wagons was able to be filled this year around June. Paid for items in September after finally getting a total. $450AU later and now December with no sign of kits and no response to emails. Have rung twice and promised delivery a month ago, but no sign of them yet. Appreciate that there may be problems, but a little communication + the items I ordered would be nice.

  3. Hi Ian,

I have looked at your ideas and those of others for your O gauge venture.

Must admit, I struggle with how much space O gauge can soak up.

I do like the plan at post #54, that has potential I think.

Love the Brassworks shunter, that sort of got me thinking about the larger scale now.

    Cheers

  4. Looking good so far, very inspiring stuff.

Just ordered 8 Bachmann Mk1s for respray.

    Two thoughts though,

Did you end up mixing a lighter shade of the red?

Were the window frames easy to paint?

    Cheers

  5. Finished the white base coat for SeaLink coaches #2 and #3...

Next step (later this week) will be to mask around the window band and spray the red window band.

Very helpful pics Taybridge. Are those Bachmann MK1s?

I have 4 of the lima Sealink coaches, and always wanted more for a rake of 8 - 10.

Might have to go down the respray path myself.

    Cheers

  6. Red band now painted. Next up is the light blue..., followed by mid blue and finishing (not today!) with dark blue...

    Hi Taybridge.

Glad to see someone tackling a repaint of the Sealink coaches. I have some Fox transfers that I was going to use for my respray - would appreciate any thoughts on the colours you are using.

    Cheers
