  1. Very interesting.

    I too have DCC sound fitted (green) class 37.

    Has anyone been able to code up a kadee uncoupling waltz?

    I'm flummoxed, even though I have downloaded the v5 loksound guide and attempted the function mapping.

    I set the following:

    CV 31 value 16

    CV32 set to mapping line value

    CVH ( F26 which is vacant,) CVN (uncoupling cycle) value 64 both set to mapping line co-ordinate values

     CV31/32  reset to zero.

    Cv 246=5

    247=244

    248=150.

    nothing moved.

    Have I missed something?

    cheers

  2. Hope that someone has fathomed this out...

    I assume that I use two ports of the switchpilot, one for each sub-turnout but how do I wire up the three frogs to the two Extension ports?

    Do I take a spur off the middle one and pair up to each of the other two?

    following on… thanks to advice posted in reply, I have sorted out the above issue.

    However, a new one emerges…

    I use the ECoS system and the feedback method via the Extension modules. Now can only obtain correct feedback for two of the three point positions despite swapping over terminals. Is this just me or  has anyone else found this ( and fixed it)?

  3. I looked at this problem here on RMWeb, having a similar problem myself in a section of board where a support beam affixed to the free standing units precluded me from mounting an under board motor.

    I just superglued an offcuts of thin springy styrene sheet to the body of the PL-11 body left free over the arm and overhanging at the free end for added stability and longevity.

    Quick, easy and cheap

  4. Hi-

    if you search for  “yard lamps” in this section, you will find details of construction.

    I also made station lamps using the same method. Obviously you don’t need the ladders but  I added ladder rests.

    I’ve attached photo.

    I added plastic sleeve to the column base for effect and ordered station names inline which I backed with styrene.

    Hope this helps

  5. I would like to model the water column at Bury Bolton St station on the ELR. It is described as a “Horwich type” in the excellent “Bury to Heywood and Rawtenstall” book by Wells & Bentley. Other examples of this type were found in various sites as depicted in the photos contained therein.
    Are they in fact  of the LMS/ Midland type available as a white metal OO gauge kit?

    If not, can anyone point me to an appropriate OO model of the type.

  6. Hello

    ...found this very old thread.

    I have a problem with mine in that the bridge tracks do not line up exactly with the roads when the end point of rotation is reached. There is a little “play” in the bridge rotation. It is less than one cog position.

    Can you offer any advice?

    ps- the clicking t had at you reported happens in mind as well- mine is DCC controlled.
