    This is beautifully presented,sitting in its now customary clear plastic cradle within a foam lined wood presentation box with accompanying instructions and attractive illustrated booklet prepared by Locomotion/NRM.

    2516 is finished in Great Western gloss (Locomotion speciality ) green and is a altogether a handsome model with much fine detail over which I am currently drooling.

     

         Let's just say that I am happy and it is worth the wait.Well done Oxford,Brian and the guys at Locomotion and not forgetting Sandra who has moved on to pastures new but who still keeps popping up on occasion.

    Hello peeps!

     

    Thought I'd drop in on the Rails conversation about this mouth watering model of the Q1 and see how everyone was doing.

     

    I think they are being unpackaged at Rails as I type and those who have ordered will be getting them pretty soon. Woohoo!

     

    If you haven't bought one yet... WHY NOT?? It's only £109.95 and look what you get for your money!

     

    You can't pass this one up! Dust the cobwebs from the plastic and get on the dog and bone to order or you won't get one and then you will be sorely disappointed

    Rapido/Locomotion Models GNR Stirling Single

    Hi everyone!

     

    Just thought I'd take a look and see how things are going with the Stirling single! I'm sure Bill will have everything ironed out when the models turn up and it will be just perfect!

     

    It's getting ever closer so I hope you have a space ready for the day all these brown packages are delivered!

     

    I'm now a 'lady what lunches' and thoroughly enjoying it! However I do miss the chatter and the 'frothin' from this forum and dare I say it... But you lot too!!

     

    Here's hoping the single is a dream!!

    Bachmann announce L&Y 2-4-2T

    There are about 8 models left at Shildon - kept in case any are lost/damaged/faulty and need to be replaced.  After 2 or 3 weeks when everyone is happy with their models, they will be for sale.  Not totally over yet for anyone who didn't  manage to bag one earlier.

    Mine has arrived today - looks absolutely gorgeous but not yet tested under power.  One or two comments heading towards Shildon but not in respect of the quality of the model - there was no receipt/purchase related paperwork with mine.

    Paperwork should be in the little plastic wallet with address details that's stuck on the package

    Morning all, 

     

    Showing as "In stock now" on the Locomotion website, so we should all be receiving them in the next week or so as they say they hope to have all orders fulfilled by the 22nd November. There were 107 left in stock (ie not pre-ordered) according to the website when I checked this morning.
