It's been a struggle for me. After trying all weekend (with the wrong, UK-only orders number) I finally got through to the right number (+441904685730) on Monday afternoon right before 4:00pm. They did return the call surprising promptly (right at 4:00pm on Monday) but I missed it and the voicemail indicated I would receive a call around Wednesday. I called again today around 3:00pm and left a new message.

 

The international order line is staffed from 10:00am to 4:00pm. This works out to 2:00am to 8:00am in my time zone. It would be so much easier to order on-line. I will persevere with the phone.

That is insane. I ordered the Deltic via their website and it was delivered to me in the USA. Has the NRM gone back a step?

I finally received my Kestrel today and such a lovely beast it is. I opened the box at the dining table with my 6 year old daughter.

Daughter: Are you going to show mum.

Me: No, mum is not interested in trains.

Daughter: Are you going to tell her about it.

Me: No, she does not want to know.
