  1. Saw a uni running north through shaftholme junction on the ECML at around 3.30 today. I believe it was unit 800103; I have to admit they look pretty smart!

    Class 47

Looking for a Hornby circa 2000 class 47 wiring set (all wires/diodes/bulbs etc etc) or alternatively fully wired chassis. This is for the ringfirld motor class 47; I’m looking to restore mine to working order

    Sorted

Looking for a Heljan turntable (new or used) for a reasonable price to replace a life expired peco kit! Not looking to pay over the odds but happy to consider any offers!
  4. I run at the largest a princess Elizabeth class and a merchant navy class; which are almost dead on 12” so I assumed I’d need some overhang! I stand to be corrected though
  5. I’m wanting to put a motorised turntable in place on my layout in order to free up some point levers and reduce the footprint of part of the trackwork! Could anyone point me in the direction of a reasonably priced (preferably motorised although I can just convert a manual if necessary) turntable capable of handling locos of up to 14 inches long maximum? Thank you!
  6. Does anyone know if the bogies on the Hornby BR ex-LNER Teak composite coaches can be swapped around or if they’re permanent?
  7. Looking for a BR ex-LNER Gresley teak coach with running number e1435 (part of the 1948 olympics set). If anyone has any idea let me know!
  8. Looking for a set of spare stickers for the Hornby terminus station 'kit' due to damage! Price and postage will be paid for!
  9. Yes yes I know; setrack is awful but it suits my needs! Looking for between 2 and 4 each of both left hand and right hand curved points; 2 Y points; and plenty of regular and express L-H and R-H points. If anyone could help or throw me in the right direction that'd be great! Thank you!
  10. Tried a few pints from Stancill Brewery earlier today; I have to admit: Stancill Pilsner wasn't too bad and neither was Stancill No.7! Although I wasn't too keen on the traditional Barnsley better!
  11. I've ran a gaugemaster UD controller (panel mount) for about 6 months now; with an old Hornby controller providing auxiliary power; and it gives me no trouble whatsoever. Highly recommend both the old Hornby power controller (not the new model) and the UD!
  12. In some discussion on this thread here: http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/16442-Dapol-announce-oo-ole/page-13&do=findComment&comment=1909575 That said; I would like to see it released!
  13. Well weathered? That is a bit more than weathered, looks more like it's been left at the bottom of a fishpond or two!
  14. Call me old-fashioned but: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=331509504727 I think I'll stick to scratchbuilding. Either that or I'll do without
  15. Surely this has to be a joke
