6 hours ago, great northern said:
Another result I would not have predicted. Watling Street 6 votes, almost half the total cast, and ET only got 2.
Today we will have something simple, with no sub classes to cause confusion. What was the best name for a B1? You may have to do a bit of research on your antelopes.
Mayflower of course. Station pilot at Grimsby Town for many years and shedded at 40B

Newark Northgate for me too. Used it often when travelling home to the home of the Mighty Mariners.

Cleethorpes for me too. Out of the station, turn left and in 20 yards or so you are on the beach (assuming the tides not in)

Louth for me too

Hello Gilbert,
May I Ask what the makeup (consist) was for the Kings Cross to Cleethorpes please. Maybe photos of that if possible.
Thanks in advance
Keith
It's all very boring here, when compared to the startling things going on at SOSJ, but at least we do have a touch of the exotic East tonight. Yes folks, this is the 4.15pm off KX, and it is on its way to Cleethorpes. You can't get any further East than that without falling off.

I'm sure the Brits weren't at Immingham shed in 1958. As a train-spotterI think they arrived in the early 60's.
Thanks for the photos
