I have the same question!
-
Unless I'm mistake, it looks like this is just a re-liveried Class 08, rather than a true 09, the head and tail lamps don't match the prototype for starters?

Hopefully I'm wrong, I'm quite keen on the InterCity liveried version...

Assuming it is the LLC tooling (and I'm inclined to agree with others so far who have suggested it is), I hope it includes the sound project that came with it.
I was fortunate enough to get one of the original LLC models but didn't have the foresight back then to order a sound fitted version. If I can get my hands on the sound decoder, that would be ideal!

Just got back from Kettering. Dapol have announced the 4575 and had a (good looking) engineering sample on display. Not sure on release date yet.

It's a shame, I would have liked to have seen Rapido dip their toes into 7mm. I wonder if the 15XX would have garnered more interest/gotten more people to commit?
-
Another vote for the class 37 and I'd love to see the MDOs in 7mm.
The class 31 would make a good medium sized diesel too and, having seen the cab mock-up (in 8mm I think?), the class 50 in large logo would do very nicely!

Dapol is the reason I got into O gauge way back when they first announced the 08 and Terrier.
I'd be really keen to see some sort of tender engine, perhaps even reissuing the Lionheart mogul as diecast instead of brass, similarly to what they've done with the prairie.

Great, thanks for posting the flyer. I thought it might've been a Toad but glad to have confirmation.
EDIT: changed title to reflect

Fantastic news! More than happy to support you guys and have expressed my interest.

New high resolution pictures on Dapol's Facebook page of the forthcoming HEA/HBA. Due late July/early August. Looking good overall, and it's nice to see Dapol going the Accurascale way with regards to livery variations.

Great news, I missed out on the first run so I'll be getting in my pre-order!
Will you be doing the coal loads to go with them?

I think the price is more of a Heljan problem, than an O gauge one. Ignoring the discounts one can find online for the time being, the Heljan class 50 has an RRP of £699.99 whilst the forthcoming Dapol Class 66, fitted with sound no less is £475. Compared to something in 00 with sound added you're definitely over the £200 mark.

Surprised no-one has mentioned this yet, but Richard posted some CADs of the standard 3 on Facebook, which as of this evening is down. As soon as it's back up I'll post the link. Good to see a bit of movement at last!

Is that the B4 behind the 66?

Not to worry. Knowing they're now in production will tide me over for the time being

That's great to hear! I don't suppose he let slip when he anticipates them reaching the UK?

Definitely summer. The rain proves it!
On topic: I'd like a 45xx but only once I see one running.
Off Topic: I'd like to see a Metro Tank, 517 class and a Dean Goods in RTR next.......
Here's a video from the original Lionheart run a few years ago which is a brass model.
Dean goods is a great suggestion, I'd like to see a 2251 especially given Heljan have dropped it. Or perhaps a 4F.

This is making it much harder to wait for my blood and custard versions...
How are you all finding the corridor connection on curves/through points?

Likewise, BR Blue for me (with sound of course). Hoping this is the beginning of a bright 7mm future!
