Yes they were there but unfortunately I procrastinated for a few days and when I went to order there was only one left so had obviously sold out. At least I've saved some money!

Missed these first time round so pleased so see them available again. -
My 56008 has been delivered this morning. Unfortunately I won't get my hands on it until late this evening.

It's really easy and will be well worth it. -

Hi Roger, I use a LokProgrammer so would just alter the brightness setting for outputs Front light [1] and Rear light [1]. I'm afraid I couldn't tell you the exact CV's to alter. If they're the same as 37043 then they'll be on a brightness setting of 5 out of 31 so there's plenty of adjustment left. -

Just started playing with the decoder settings on my 37043. Has anyone managed to alter the brightness of the car headlight? I can alter every other light but changing the settings for AUX11 and 12 makes no difference to the brightness. I'm wondering if it's wired in such a way as to prevent it being changed. -

I've had the same issue too. Bending it back seems to work for a while but it droops again after a while. I think snipping a millimetre or two off the end would work. -

Thank you everyone for the replies, much appreciated. I'll be fitting the clip on plough at the other end so useful to know what item two is used for. -

Hi everyone, Thought I'd get in with this query before the excitement over the Green Class 37's takes hold. I've been struggling with the bufferbeam pipework on my 37043. After looking at some of the excellent examples on here plus prototype pictures I've got the following: Hopefully this is correct so far. I'm thinking item one below goes in the hole to the right of the coupling hook. Is this correct as it doesn't seem to fit very well? The hole doesn't seem deep enough and the moulded hose coming off the top doesn't sit well with the other pipework. Also, do I need to be fitting items two-four anywhere? I've no idea what they are. Any help greatly appreciated. -

Yes my 37043 squeaks too. I've not looked into the cause but it does seem to be one squeak per wheel rotation. -

Thanks, I've got 37043 to do so I'll give it a go later. I did 37423 without realising it was removable and it is a little tricky. -

Didn't realise they were removable, that's good to know. I assume it's the two screws underneath, immediately behind the buffer beam. -
Never knew journalist Ben and Revolution Ben were the same person until yesterday! It came across really well on the show.

Yes I suppose a standard car headlight would have a black bracket with it, just a lot more slender than that of the model which means it does look better painted yellow. Please could you let us know what colour you used - it looks a great match. -

Great work on the headlight. I'm surprised this is the first time it's been mentioned as that shiny black plastic back really stands out. It will be a definite early job on 37043 when it arrives. Just hope the eyes and hands are up to the task. -

The update issued a few days ago stated 37043, 37402 and 37409 will arrive in stock in late June. -
I've got two SFX models. On one the LokProgrammer reads all information in a matter of seconds as you would normally expect. On the other it takes several minutes with a lot of feedback noise and jolting from the loco. It eventually gets all information but there's something not right. I've not removed the chip and tried it separately.

Very nice choice. The intensity of the orange changes dramatically on that one depending on the lighting conditions. Probably a tough one to get right and open to interpretation as to what looks right. -

Yes I'd be inclined to do the same. It's a shame it ended up with black headcode boxes as even disregarding these it only had a five-year stint in its modelled livery. -

Just doing some Flickr research on 37140. Incase anyone's interested it looks like it didn't get the black headcode box in high visibility headlight guise until mid 1989.
