I did however almost finish Ratios overhead crane kit. I have to admit this being my first plastic kit, I'm quite happy with it but there is room for improvement.

More testing and cutting the track to length... It's starting to look like a railway...

Hi all, this is my first posting on here in a while.

With this partial lockdown, I have decided to build a layout. Analogue operation but future proofing it for DCC. It's spread over 2 baseboards 45cm by 110cm. 

Set in the 1980s of British rail, it features a disused bay platform, run round loop, nuclear flasks trains to service the nearby nuclear power station, engineers siding, and regular passenger trains through DMUs 108, 121, but loco substitutions can occur at any time. 

Trackwork is made up of Pecos latest bullhead offering, combined with dapols motorised signals.

Any thoughts or feedback is welcome!

I will post updates as and when I can, but I am still working, albeit from home.
