  1. We’ve already sent out several spares and replacements. Please email the support email in the manual (rather than the general email address which is getting a few queries) if you’ve not heard anything back in 7 days (Simon is normally much quicker than that but has been on leave recently). Thanks Mike
  2. Hi Roy The dates can only ever be a best estimate until the models are in transit (and even that can be subject to delays en route - we had one shipment recently which was delayed by engine trouble!). The information on our website is as accurate as we can be until we get a further update. By pure chance we’ve literally just had an update this afternoon that the production samples of the 128s are en route and assuming there are no problems with them then September delivery is very achievable, but as we say on the website until the models leave the factory door there are still opportunities for delays (particularly as part of our checks and the factory’s checks). Cheers Mike
  3. Hi Chris As per the info on our website - please login to your account on our website where you should see your balance invoice. Best wishes Mike
  4. I I converted a pre-production sample to EM (and will have a production one running on Oldshaw (which is EM) later this year). IIRC it was a bit of a tight fit but not too difficult.
  5. Thanks for the interest in these - we’d hoped to get them available for preorder at the same time as the announcement (ie when Caroline arrived) but all the order processing is taking up time so it might be next week before the order book opens. Cheers Mike
  6. Some have - as per the info on the Project summary page of our website, I reckon we’ve sent out about 70% as of today. I think that all despatched models are now showing as such (but we will do checks once we have finished packing and posting) and international orders should have tracking details as a note on their order. More to be packed and posted tomorrow (along with FNAs!). cheers Mike
  7. Caroline isn’t a 58ft or 62ft6 (from that PDH drawing which is out on all the dimensions) but a 63ft or 64ft6 chassis depending on which dimension you use (body/chassis/over buffers etc). Cheers Mike
  8. No orders have been marked as despatched yet as we’ve just finished two days solid packing. The first orders went in yesterday’s post with a lot more today and some more tomorrow. I’ll start marking orders as despatched tomorrow. Cheers Mike
  9. I’m not sure if Stadler will offer any more 88s to be honest. IIRC their order book is pretty full for a while and I suspect that they might prefer to offer 93s or perhaps variations of 93 ie the standard Eurodual Stadler bodyshell. cheers Mike
  10. Correct (as per the details on our website) - please email us at info@ etc if you would like us to delay posting your model. Thanks Mike
  11. Definitely 21 pin, and IIRC 6 function needed for all the lighting functions (there's quite a few!). I know we tested it with a fair few decoders but I can't remember which (possibly Ben or Mike B will be able to fill in the gaps here!). Cheers Mike
  12. IIRC all the decoration is complete, the factory were just attaching bogies. I expect we will be asked to arrange shipping soon! Cheers Mike
  13. Folks please see the note on both the news item on our website and on the email ie that if you paid a balance invoice then there system automatically generates a despatch note BUT your order isn't despatched until the other half of your order is marked as despatched. We know it is confusing but we can't change it unfortunately without putting in a completely different deposit system. Thanks, Mike
  14. Yes, the first Motorail service was 1966 from Kensington Olympia to Perth. By 68 there were all sorts of Motorail services including a terminal at Newton-le-willows with services to Stirling (N) and Newton Abbot (S). Beyond the Motorail use they were used on car delivery services throughout the 60s eg to Halewood in Liverpool. Cheers Mike
  15. We’re starting production of the N gauge version in October (order deadline 30/9/23). For the OO version we’re waiting for the livery samples which shouldn’t be too much longer. cheers Mike
  16. Apologies for commenting on another manufacturer’s thread but we’re already doing the 93. Cheers Mike
  17. So Ben and I had the pleasure of talking about our great hobby on Jeremy Vine’s radio 2 show this afternoon. We’re on from about 1h30 / 1330 until the end of the show: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001nfvk It was great fun and we hope that we put across our enthusiasm for our great hobby! Cheers Mike
  18. You can add listen to Radio 2 to the list of places to hear about us now! We do post a fair bit on social media as well! cheers Mike
  19. I think at this stage (ie tooling) we’re not going to start talking about a second batch! I think in terms of specific livery variations we will go with accurate but long lasting and offering a range of time periods ie we’re unlikely to only do pre or post a certain date. In terms of the expressions of interest the starting point should be that none will go ahead. None of the three options is looking promising - in terms of most expressions to least we’re at: 180 Barbie 175 Barbie 180 EMR cheers Mike
  20. As per our FAQs (explaining our deposit system) we will send out invoices when the models are nearly ready to ship to customers. We typically update our Project overview page when we start sending out invoices. cheers Mike
  21. If you click on Projects rather than on the drop down menu it takes you to the same place (device depending!). cheers Mike
  22. The white ICI tanks are not quite the same - from a quick look the suspension / brake and discharge gear are different and the sole bars are a bit different. Cheers Mike
  23. The debranded Alcan and Faded Alcan are essentially the same thing. The Unbranded tanks would need a bit of modelling to remove some markings. But I’d really recommend looking at pictures of videos if you’re after a rake for a very specific date/period. The start of the rebranding to LL was after the last EWS service - GBRf introduced the longer trains but I don’t know the exact dates. cheers Mike
  24. As Chris has noticed, we got an update yesterday that production is complete and we’re just getting shipping quotes! cheers Mike
  25. Hi Dave The conflicting dates was my fault - I couldn’t decide what was a reasonable deadline (I’ll edit one of them) but the crucial point is there is no need to delay expressing interest (so thank you!) - as soon as we get enough interest in any livery we will get it on sale. The split between 2 and 3 car units doesn’t matter - the MoQ is on the base livery rather than the individual units. Early bird on undecided liveries - to be decided. It’s tricky - we would like to reward people for ordering early without creating many different deadlines - I’m sure we will figure something out. Cheers Mike
