Glasgow to Malliag class 37 approaches Overtoun junction.
Spent plenty of time blending the foreground into the backscene.

Cleaned with IPA.
I think new brushes would have been a good idea.

Hi Andy your layout looks superb, it has the look of a railway in the landscape, you could have put down a lot more track in the space have, but in this case less is more, keep up the great work i look forward to seeing more updates!
Thank you for your kind comments. I set out with the intention of it being a landscape with a railway running through it rather than loads of railway with little bits of scenery.

Time to strip down a cheap, poor running Hornby class 29 from 1978.
First deep clean in 45 years I suspect.

Hi guys,
Just to jump in on this, i'm planning to use Smith 3 link couplings on my goods stock (Which i'm happy to modify), my coaches are all close coupled, what I am looking for is NEM plugs that can take 3 link couplings therefore avoiding having to modify my locos and coaches.
Does such a thing exist?

The station building started out as a cheap ebay laser cut kit, very chunky, so I changed the roof and added some stone base bricks.

The platform was scratch built.
Two layers of 9mm MDF secured to the baseboard.
Platform edged with plasticard.
Then the platform was covered with individual 3x2 foot paving slabs (Cardboard).
The whole lot then had thinned decorators caulk wiped across the top.
This took about 6 hours over three days.
