lima conversion into grand central express in the new livery,done in november from memory!big mistake!the orange stripe on the coaches should be black where the grand central logos are.lower front cowling was cut off with a razor saw and buffer beams attached(these were from a Dapol pug!!!)locos and coaches were rubbed down with 1200 wet n dry then primed with plastic primer and sprayed with car arosols,then varnished with humbrol arosols,transferes were 99p from e bay!!then re varnished.

Time to get started!!Im an avid fan of 1960`- 1980`s Scottish railways!have been collecting loco`s and rolling stock for a while.Eventually started to detail,repaint & weather items.Starting on the baseboards in a few weeks,will have to remember to post pics!have to many projects on my workbench waiting to be completed!(2 lima powered railbuses spring to mind!here we see a Wrenn wagon I brush weathered.An old triang thompson coach re-painted detailed and weathered...my current project half finished.a trix brake composite,re-sprayed with car primer then painted with a railmatch br maroon spray can.Lined with pressfix lining.jobs left to do are finish off the lining then varnish and a light weathering.
