I have a Western Enterprise in my display cabinet purchased when they were first available and there are no imperfections. The additional items including nameplates have been fitted to an extremely high standard.

They look absolutely stunning - but (uh-oh)..... c1978-intro OHLE flash design on the green 'un....?
There is a picture of it on Derby Sulzers in that livery with the warning flashes..

Hi, I have purchased Western Duke with factory sound recently. Would you like me to post a copy of the function key notes for your perusal?

Hi all, did we ever find out the o/p questions of who's sound file on what chip is in the factory fitted Westerns?
For example the Dapol 4D-003-016S Class 52 'Western' D1043 "Western Duke" in BR chromatic blue with small yellow panels - DCC sound fitted.
Thanks

I've just checked mine for you, (She's always at hand) I knew anyway but there should be no lights on when track power is applied (for you coach lights and console will), Mine had nothing on until I turned them on and this was checked with the ESU ECoS controller and the decoder in APT is ESU's Loksound Select.
Might be of some help,
Regards Craig.
Thank you very much Craig for taking the time to confirm that for me, much appreciated.

Hi,
Quick query that someone might be able to answer, when I have placed my Apt-E on the track and turned the track power on it always has the cab lights and directional lights come on. I always make sure I have turned everything off from the previous running but still this happens.
Can anyone advise or tell me if there's does or doesn't do this? Mine is a DCC sound version (Factory)

Good Morning Accurascale,
My partner has kindly ordered Ballymoss as a present for me but she would like to be able to pay off the balance as and when prior to the release date. She has sent a couple of emails in the past 2 weeks to reflect this but hasn’t had a reply. Can you enable her account in order to do this?

I did not quite get the comments in the end of year news about life being too short to answer e-mails. If they are trolling mails, I agree they should be ignored. But enquiries of all natures from your customers about products, orders, payments, spares etc should never be ignored and treated rapidly. It is a big area that either quickly creates confidence OR looses it completely. If you have not resolved the question by the third mail, jump on the phone to them.
People are prepared to pay more if service is excellent.
I think most projects for now are dead in the water unless people have money invested in them. There would be little point carrying on with those for now. It seems that the worst of the storm has passed DJM so hopefully we will see better more rapid progress with the projects that are left. And some hint above suggests the 92 reached tooling, excellent news if it has, great news if reaches an EP in 8 weeks. But even if a few months later than that, it will still be excellent progress after such a storm.
Having read the end of year report I think the "mails" he is referring to are actually forum posts. He doesn't actually use the word "e-mails"

Is it Excessive Adblue Consumption?

I'd be interested to know how you get on with this. I work in a main dealer franchise as a master tech and know from experience some of the software updates (emissions fix) carried out did increase AdBlue consumption quite a lot.
Sometimes an AdBlue issue can be seen as dried crusty AdBlue around the end of the exhaust pipe if the catalyst is not functioning correctly?
I'm not sure what MB is like but ours have projected consumption figures in the handbook, this should confirm your suspicions but as MarkC has mentioned this does seem excessive.
