Was great to meet you at Minehead today and the layout looks even better in the flesh. The ash effect on the single road inspection pit is simply stunning. Little hiccups are always gonna be there but thorughly enjoyed your layout and I'll watch the progress on here.

Cav, RBE on here, kindly helped me to get some industrial high bay lights 3D printed;
I hope to get them painted and installed in the shed over the next few months.
Hope that helps.
Cheers
Would love to get some like that for my depot.
Any idea if he has any available?

Have you found anyone who does the depot internal down lights that are down each lane and hang from the metal rods spanning down?

I've sprayed the first coat of mine in Halfords White primer (already had this) and all ok. Have since added a couple of coats of acrylic paint by hand and starting to look more like the real thing.
Cracking little pieces..... can't wait to get one of them hanging out of my withdrawn 47 in the lifting shed!

WOW! Just came across the thread.
I used to live in Flackwell Heath as a youngster and my fathers friend who worked on the railway (sadly passed away now) actually had a short spell at Loudwater Signal Box and apparently, at the tender age of 5, I was taken inside there. Fennel Woods were a big part of my cycling days as a nipper and I have vague recollections of the railway being there and the gates.
Not a lot there now unfortunately, but you can still walk part of the old track.Loving the layout.

I've got one!
It's gradually coming along in the spare time I have.
Sounds like Kettering was a tad on the quiet side....expected!
