G'day, just need some advice on where I might be able to get some MK1 under frame components for restaurant and kitchen cars specifically?

I am left wondering how best to promote modelling Scotland.
After all, my own layout in progress is of such a size that it could be anywhere in the world, let alone in the UK. Admittedly it's specifically on the GNSR, but I'm running whatever I can get my hands on that might have worked out of Kitty.
Edit: That said, converting one of the new Derby Lightwights to the BEMU is certainly something from that area that's pretty unique.
Converting the Bachmann Derby lightweight to the Ballater BEMU is pretty straight forward, I'm just putting the finishing touches to mine as we speak.

I only ask because I have contacted Bachmann three times regarding faulty PCB's on sound chip 40's and I have had no response yet! I am not even asking them to replace them, just give me a cost on replacing them!

G'day,
I would like to ask the group their opinions on the customer service they have received from Bachmann and Hornby regarding problems with products?

The small strip along the side of the loco is Egg Shell Blue if I recall correctly.

That won't help as the sleepers are different from the MK3a hauled stock represented by the Jouef models. The Lima one is as good a start point for modification pretty much.
Hurst models used to do a couple of different coach ends for Mk3's I am using some to do a rake of loco hauled push-pull Mk3's they also do the Mk3 sleeper ends with the incorporated lights but they always seem to be out of stock when I contact them! Good luck!

Hello Ian,
I am currently re-building my Scottish based layout set in the Early eighties and I am hoping to include a whiskey distillery and was wondering if your distillery model is home made one or a resin model?
If it is the later could you let me know who manufactures them.

G'day there, I'm thinking of doing his depot in OO gauge, using the mpd kit that is now available, do you have a track plan of this depot by any chance?
