  1. They must have in my area as ive had a despatch from Accurascale and a were expecting youre parcel.. from DPD. Much prefer DPD
  2. They are getting through. My D6702 came from Topp Trains. They have a blue one that was unclaimed as of this afternoon
  3. Ive used the AE decoders and found them to be pretty decent. Its a pity they dont do a plux22. They are manufaturered by DCC Concepts. I have 21 pins in Bachmann 40, Heljan 25 and a Bachmann 20. Next 18 ive only tried in an EFE J94. which runs great. The same loco with a gaugemaster ran badly. Possibly the AE is better suited to coreless motors like in the J94
  4. I didnt end up getting one in the end, xmas present for the kids has dented the budget this month lol
  5. Its a prodigy dcc01 so it dosent really have an off switch so it has to be unplugged. I'll park it in a siding so its isolated. Hopefully the proper decoder arrives next week so i can get that fitted. Then hopefully the retailler i had it from has a customer that wants the blue one he has in but dosent want the sound in it. As i originally wanted a sound version the retaillers asked if id like the sound chip and speaker out of the blue one so he can sell it as dcc ready to his other customer.
  6. Got my green one yesterday. Popped a temp decoder in it ( Dapol imperium 1 ) whilst i wait for the proper accurascale one that ive ordered. Runs fine but upon powering off the layout ( plug out from mains ) the loco shoots off and travels about 2ft. Im guessing this is just the stay alive discharging?
  7. Looks good. Do these run on standard code 100 track? Wonder what they would be like on 2nd radius as thats the max i can fit on my board.
  8. Just got back. Massive free car park. Very nice show with nice layouts. Didnt feel crowded. Layouts and traders accross 3 halls. Glenbogle was my favourite layout. Managed to get a few decent bargain wagons. Loads of bargains on the Dapol stand such as new sound fitted 08 for £200. They had a few returns as well. £65 for a 59 not to be sniffed at. Pete waterman was there too. And to top it off i managed to get my green accurascale 37. :)
  9. Close, i mean its got 6 wheels ;)
  10. I going to put an order in tonight. If its all in stock can i put it all i one order? Looking at decoders speakers and wagons. Can they all go together or should i do seperate orders for them?
  11. Cheers for that. Ill be getting mine from the shop in person so can check for wobbles.
  12. I noticed my local shop had these in today. They look very interesting but i hesitated to buy it with it being an 0-6-0, albeit with a bigger wheelbase than the 08 that i had issues with cutting out on pointwork. So if anyones had a sound fitted one id appriciate your thoughts :)
  13. Mine arrived on monday and im very pleased with it. I find with DHL to totally ignore the estimated delivery window as its never accurate. This time should have been 16.10 - 17.10. Actually arrived before dinner.
  14. If youve had it less than 180 days get the seller to assist in sending to accurascale. If they refuse put in a dispute as the goods are clearly faulty.
  15. Hadnt Oxford Rail already done the majority of the work tho? As i bilieve it was originally to be in an oxford rail box?
  16. Listen to the original Hornby mag review of the original large logo blue 47 ( and the shenker 08 for that matter ) and youll see they are very similar - especially the horns
  17. Some of the horns were the same, as was the moving off sound. The startup sound was similar to the newer TTS version. Not the same as the original TTS chip. The 37 sounded ok, but the warning sounds on startup must mean its intended for later liveried 37s. The 08 is pretty much the same as the TTS file, but it does sound richer. Having said that i too k it out of my 08 in the end as the loco got very hot where the speaker was at the front.
  18. The newest Bachmann 21 pin decoder is an esu lokpilot that has 10 function so that may be ok as well
  19. Im hoping @Jenny Emily will do another video showcasing the newer profiles that are available such as the 37 , 47 and turbomotive :)
  20. Ah brill, hadnt expected you to say that soon lol :)
  21. You could always ask the seller to assist in returning it to accurascale. If they refuse and If its less than 180 days put in a claim with ebay / paypal
  22. Thats the layout that inspired me when i saw it at stafford last weekend.
  23. Well if the 00 gauge layout comes up i can extend to 9ft, but thats the width of the bedroom so cant go any longer than that and thats a good 3ft wide Passenger trains i was thinking maybe a DMU of some sort.
  24. Well after seeing some great small 0 gauge layouts at stafford i have decided to press ahead with a layout. Ive got some scale model scenery boards that are 294mm wide. Length wise ive got a few modules so could go to 2000mm which i think is around 6.5 foot. This is the max length so will have to include any fiddle yard. What sort of thing can i do with that width? Ideally id want a couple of points ( not set track ) so i get a couple of sidings for shunting and maybe a kickback. Stock wise ive already got a few wagons and an 08. Id like maybe a J94 and a Heljan 02 when they arrive and one of the EFE Class 15 or 16 look nice as well
