We are pleased to annonce the class 66 will be available in the coming week.
We can confirm the price of the 9f will be £169 and the Box Set will be £359, we will be touch with all customers who have reserved these models in the coming weeks.
Regards
Simon & Stuart
So the box set is 21 pounds more than ordering the two locomotives separately!! I guess that's because of the box, or are there some additional features we should get excited over?

Thank you Simon and Stuart, I was concerned as the box set had vanished from the web site with no mention of why and I thought it may have been dropped rather than the allocations sold out. Therefore as I have it on order no doubt someone will be in touch when the final payment is needed and the set is ready for delivery?

I pre ordered the special twin pack at the very start of the process, but I've received zero in the form of communication can NRM advise please?
Having ordered the box set myself and now that NRM are saying the models will be available shortly (well at least the class 66) It would be good if Simon or even Stuart could clarify if these orders will be honoured as the Locomotion web site is blank on the subject of the box set of both locos which I am sure many members will have ordered

Hi Sandra
Is this still available as a pair. I am sure I ordered it and paid a deposit of £50 for DEP003 but on the Locomotion News Letter today I clicked on your web and DEP003 appears to have vanished in to the ether. Does that means the allocation is now sold out or it will no longer be offered as a boxed pair?

Whether Rails selling the bell devalues the Locomotion version has become irrelevant as the Rails separate bell at £9 something sold out within a few days. At the time I thought it was a bit expensive and didn't buy one but within a nano second it is page 404 no where to be seen , which perhaps suggests demand for bells even those that are not a very accurate reproduction of the real thing outstrips supply!
