  1. Both of my Dapol oo 68's have a very low tension lock coupling height and are  a good few mm below all my other loco and rolling stock coupling heights and the vertical uncoupling link only just clears the top of the rail.This is not very good for neat coupling/uncoupling.

     

           These locos have an unusual push in cranked coupling adapter from the self centering spring loaded anchorage point with the nem box for the plug in coupling at the end,it seems to me that this adapter should be higher ?

     

    Has anyone else noticed,  had problems with this or found a work around ?

    Hi, I had the same problem and as I use Kadees they were very low. I removed the self centering spring loaded anchorage piece and filed the coupling mounting down. The Coupling adapter was test fitted until I got the right height. Another problem  occurred as 1 coupling unit is fixed (  Must be glued ) so I can only do 1 end. Hopefully these will become available as spares. unless some one as them available
