I am looking for a copy (photocopy or scan would be fine) of the instructions for the above kit. Been on my to do list for a least 10 years and finally getting round to complete. Problem being instructions have been lost. Can any members assist me ? These may be generic to the other ex Kirk quad kit (8860A) but I am not sure.
Regards Allan
Hi Rodney, I seen that one a couple of days ago but I felt it was a bit expensive especially since it had no wheels. I do not know if this particular kirk model is rarer than some which in turn makes it dearer? Thanks for your reply and I will see if any replies are forthcoming before investigating further with this trader.
regards Allan
Hi Simon, I appreciate that this thread is now over 11 months old but I was also thinking about purchasing the sentinel. Did yours ever arrive ? If it did , would you recommend the finer printing against the standard.
Thanks Allan
I am looking for some assistance to verify if class 20's [ Green pre tops] ever ran over the Waverley Route. I have trolled through most of topics within the thread and various books on the Route/ Scottish railways but have not been able to find any evidence. I therefore assume that they must have been very rare over this particular route although numerous over most other Scottish routes. Can any forum members come up with any documented evidence/photos of these locos working over the line or was there a particular reason for their absence.
Thanks
What a great exhibition, all of the exhibits were great but some were superb and we will be lucky to see them all together again. Many thanks to the organising team for a great effort and look forward to a future invite. Met up with some old friends and had great response from the public for the layout.
