  1. Really nice. I am looking forward to seeing progress. Plenty of NSE stock appeared in South Wales. 50s even had exams/checks in Canton.
  2. I am the same. I am not going to buy them and was planning on getting a couple. Bachmann have responded. The reason given was one of good intention but at the very least it could have been communicated earlier. Alternatively their response could be viewed with a great deal of scepticism. Nothing more to add.
  3. In fairness Bachmann are usually better than most if they make an error. They improved the class 37 and 47. That makes this more disappointing. You can never tell what a model's colour will look like until you see it in the flesh. Images in magazines and the web are generally not going to tell you enough.
  4. Yes thats true its relining. Hopefully there was no <sarcasm>feedback</sarcasm> on the colours of the blue / grey ones.
  5. I never heard anyone mention the previous colours were wrong. This is a very disappointing response. I will be voting with my wallet and not buying any. I have enough respraying projects as it and do not need another one.
  6. I think the should be the same. Of course colours can fade over time but both models are persumably in ex works condition. For example, the new 2Fs types are all the same colours as each other. It would be like the FO and the SO being different shades.
  7. Looking forward to seeing this at Warley. The class 50s especially.
  8. I contacted Bachmann about the FFA/FGAs and the later versions will be released at the same time as the original Freightliner ones. A big hit to my wallet is now imminent.
  9. According to the Bachmann release thread, the original ones with the freightliner containers are very soon but there is nothing within the next 12 months about the later version: http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/138576-planned-Bachmann-branchline-release-schedule-published-19-october-2018/
  10. I am surprised it is only the original FFA/FGA and not also 38-627 and 38-628 which are needless to say the ones I ordered.
  11. Thanks Yes that is what I did. I have now voted so many thanks to Andy and the poll team. Fingers crossed for a class 120
  12. Thanks Andy I suspect I cant see it because I am using my phone. I will clear my cache and failing that use my PC.
  13. A link to the poll now that it is active would be good
  14. You could try treating it as a normal decoder. My logic being this is a function only decoder, ie no motor control, rather than an accessory decoder which would be for points and signals.
  15. I got mine yesterday. Very nice model. Just need some time to add the various bits and pieces.
  16. Looking forward to seeing the painted samples at Showcase especially the Redland one.
  17. Great that you are feeling better already but take things easy. Wishing you all the best.
  18. Looking good. I am looking forward to seeing it at Showcase.
  19. This is Hornby we are talking about. Its a steam engine.
  20. Thanks Chris. Not quite as long as I thought.
  21. As mention earlier in the thread there were some South Wales 117s but with 116 centre cars. I am not sure when they first appeared but they lasted at about 10 years at a guess?
  22. Yes. C450 rings a bell. Thanks for posting the picture.
