That second photograph looks interesting. Looks like it is dragging a damaged class 50, which I suspect is 50044. I seem to recall 'Exeter' getting a smack in the face at Malago Vale carriage sidings in the early 80s.

Actually, I think that's right. It's heading for Doncaster past Beighton and my notes have 50044 as being seen, but not in consist...... think I must have just omitted to record as such.

Agree it was a great event, and pleased to be able to help out by displaying Bridge Norton once again in the Diesel Shed. A few pics of this O Gauge layout attached.
