at last I have found an answer of sorts that works for me, on the ECoS controller donot use the three way point, 

look as it they are two separate points, on the RR&Co programe you can use the 3 way icon this works ok to operate

the point it works the leading soienoid first for centre track then the second soienoid for right track for the left track

both soienoid work,( the second one just before the first one) so you will have to turn up the time on the

ECoS controller to take this int acount.

the track is peco code 100 3 way point I am using esu  ECoS 5200 controller linked to

RR & Co software.
