I must admit I found this kit way beyond my capabilities. Good luck; it's looking great thus far. Graeme

This is coming on extremely well. I must admit I found the kit far too challenging! If you are seeking another of these kits I have one going spare! Graeme

I attempted building one of these kits, but found them far too difficult. They are complex and way beyond my skill level, having built a number of Connoisseur kits. I abandoned and built 2 MM1 kits instead. Far more expensive of course. Good luck!

Wheldrake in 7mm and 14' scenic is certainly going to be a challenge! Unfortunately I have caught the O gauge bug .....

I am finding this a fascinating project and the realism in such a small space is great. In the early planning days of a 7mm layout 'based' on Wheldrake. Having the loop beyond the platform does eat up space, so the sector plate solution is being considered.
Keep up the great work.

Having seen Paul's efforts first hand I can reiterate the previous comments. Now he is retired I will be expecting swift progress. Having initially planned for 7mm, the switch to S scale is understandable and will look so much better in the space available. Not only that but his 7mm NER brake will find a home on my planned DVLR layout!

Unfortunately I never got to the Highlands in the halcyon days you portray. But your layout is a great portrayal and I find your posts very inspiring. Well done!!!
