Hydrogen can be produced by electrolysing water into its two component elements, Hydrogen and Oxygen. The question is, "How do you generate the electricity in the first place?"
Hydrogen is not a terribly space efficient fuel or easy to manage, unlike the paraffins, "methane (a.k.a. natural gas), ethane, propane, butane, pentane, hexane, heptane and octane (a.k.a. petrol), etc. That's probably why its adoption has been so slow. Also there was the slight matter of the R101 and Hindenburg airships that gave it a bit of a bad name. OK, so we travel in close proximity to highly flammable liquids in our cars and aircraft, but we seem to be blind to the fire risk and are prepared to live with it.
Just fit a trailer on the back and put a cow in there, easy....

BA cabin crew could scupper your plans too.

Don't have the tails inside too long. They can make them dig the soft metal and are then a real booger to get the body off again. Worse is to push them back out so you need to start again. I have several T-shirts doing things like that.

Very well done indeed.
I didn't know it had a crumple zone edge though. Wasn't you I hope.

Jim, super pics as always, they have given me a real insight of the railway outside the confines of Huntington Station. This batch has two which intrigue me. Your shots of the Voyager and the 90 heading south, what are the small grey boxes with coiled pipes either side of the tracks, they seem to be growing just like normal weeds there are so many? Also, your shot of the 56 and 08 humping! What are the green roofed boxes with a sort of fuel pump attachment. Thank you, I look forward to your posts, I look for them each day. David

I just got myself a Bachmann Deltic 32-520, runs great but with my controller, a NCE Pro Cab, there is an issue with the lights. They work okay but the "red lights" only shine when I press the Horn/ Whistle button. Whites are okay. I am competent understanding and changing CVs etc but don't know how to swap them on the controller. Can you help please?

Thanks for that jewel, it didn't stop them running through the darkness, around 3 AM local time I heard three go noisily by.

Hmm, I like the idea very much so. I don't have a steady hand at all as I only have limited use of my leading hand. Would it be possible to include a fine line/ ridge as a guide to direct the paint or would that be impossible? If you were to release them for sale then I am in the market for around 15 if the price is right.
