Hi there, don't happen to know where I can get a new twin flywheel
motor for a vi-trains 47 ? or some other make that fits....
-
StephenNicholson, Thanks a million mate, things are so simple when shown how,
and that's my evening taken care of!
Thanks again for the swift response...

Hi Phil Mc, thanks for photo layout, I'm doing much the same thing as you per your discription except I had to change my wheel sets out for bachmanns due to derailments so no live axles and using wipers to the rectifier then capacitor then
to the battery holders, I'm not sure what size resistor to use though, any suggestion welcome, and would this be in my configuration on the positive feed?

hi StephenNicholson, I was looking at the reed switch too but with my limited
knowledge could'nt see how to achieve the wanted outcome of using the latching method for on/off working, how about a discription or tutorial, I'm sure I'm not
the only one who would benefit......

Hi all, hav'nt been on here for a while but I'm now
trying to find out the colours of the seat upholstery
for buffet seating also restaurant car seating just for
a bit more realism along with table lamps, I'm talking
BR WR Mk1s maroon, been searching books I have
and internet but no luck, any help much appreciated..

thanks for that johnster, hav'nt tried running
the motor without bogies I never thouhgt of that one so i'll do that before stripping the
ringfield right down as all i've done so far is new carbons and a lube job which helped....
-
has anyone tried to add pickups to these bogies
that have one side isolated by tyres? the model
in question is the old style Hornby class 56 re
numbered and named was a really bad runner but
not so bad now but does tend to stall where no
others do and also just bursts into life when
powered up instead of a slow pull away and thought extra p.u's would help.....

being fairly new at this game and not able to get around much i'm trying to find out the size
of the RAIL OPERATIONS GROUP plate that is carried by their loco's, does anyone know or can
anyone advise me. I can only work from photos and the thickness is difficult to judge and then scale down to 4mm. ROG never seem to answer emails.
