  9. O scale is the best for small trains. I agree with you. Not always 1 mile long train with 4 locomotives. Each scale has its advantages. Shortlines are the best for this nice scale. I follow your progress

  15. I like a lot but the Baldwin don't have the space for the stripes: the radiator is in front of the bonnet. No metal nose like on this Alco.
  16. I've tried to make photos to compare the "blue" colors of different locomotives. I used my old iPhone, a Sony and a Nikon camera. The most light blue is the HO scale RS11. 2. The O scale RS3. 3. The HO GP35 4. the most dark is the O scale Baldwin. It's very difficult to see the nuances in a photo. Here we see well:
