  1. Charlie, from reading this forum and speaking to others I know the amount of work involved in presenting this model to the public. Can I wholeheartedly thank you for such a brilliant model. Not only is it superbly detailed (I have both saltire liveries) but the sound is first class. I'm so glad I changed my mind to get dcc sound. I have only just returned to the modelling scene and wasn't sure about dcc but I am now converted so thank you for that too!! I am so looking forward to the Barbie editions and any other Scottish edition you hope to release (hopefully a spt one!!!)
  2. Hi I see the new batch of 68s including 68006 are detailed in the description as modified. What's the difference between the earlier version of 68006 and the new version? Thanks.
  3. SPT carmine and cream would be brilliant also
  4. Hi Ben, although I don't model in n scale, the cad drawings look fantastic. Please please consider doing them in oo scale especially 320 in spt carmine and cream, spt intermediate (orange and black), Strathclyde transport and scotrail liveries. You would have an order for a few from me. I look forward to my rake of 24 tea models on order as these also look exceptional.
  5. Thanks Charlie I've paid for my models tonight
  6. A 303 would be a dream come true!! Charlie, regards to the dcc fitted option does that allow you to change the lighting of the model as seen in the video clips or is that only for the sound option? Thanks
  7. Hi all - saw this at model rail Scotland. Cheers
  8. Max, I had totally missed this thread and only conducted a search of this today. I was blown away with the layout at Bonnybridge today and even more glad I was able to see the layout built from scratch on your thread. Fantastic!!! Just sorry I'm missing the Cathcart show and would have loved to have seen it again.
  9. Hi Mark, Just to say I been been glued to your layout thread for the past couple of nights and can I say what a great job you are doing. Keep up the good work and like others it has given me some inspiration for my own (whenever I get round to it!) Regards to your ballast, can I ask what type you use please? Thanks
  10. The national archives of Scotland is where I received copies of original plans (1901) of the station I intend to model. A small cost was involved for copying the records but well worth it! http://www.nas.gov.uk/onlineCatalogue/
  11. Ive ordered the Nacco (non ecc) branding today both pristine & weathered versions as these are used in Scotland. I think these will go very fast indeed so if your thinking about it I would get your orders in fast. Well done Kernow!!
