  1. I've sorted the issue out. You need to have a push button in every slot on the alpha switch board for the encoder to work. Bit strange because I now have 4 redundant buttons inside the control panel but atleast it is working. I tried to call them Saturday but it said there phone line was closed.
  2. I'm trying to link three alpha encoders together to run the alpha switch system with digital IP motors with a sniffer power supply. Only the encoder connected to the sniffer is changing points, the other two are connected with the input output plugs but will not change any points. can anyone help?
  3. Great news. Please make the box smaller this time. I'm running out of room!
  4. The lining looks really crooked on those FGW power cars.
  5. I've just seen in the latest issue of Hornby mag a sample of the new tooling FGW fag packet mk3 and it appears the lining is a waterslide transfer again. It's not sitting down properly over the raised detail and looks awful. Hornby please stop using waterslide decals. Even Lima managed tampo lining and looks far better.
  6. Hi Fran, Do you know if this has been corrected by the factory on the production batch? thanks
  7. I've had a look at my original batch ones and they are definitely tampo printed. They have no carrier film around the edges of the lines.
  8. Just had a look at the new FGW mk3 coaches and it appears Hornby have used waterslide transfers for the dynamic lines and they've not been applied very well at all. They are wonky and have carrier film silvering.
  9. Got my 66004 today. Absolutely superb model. Hopefully the triple grey GBRf 66's may be next.
  10. It's a possibility. The ground level door lock appears to be green which I don't think these had. Shame really. Looks pretty awful. Maybe another round of re bodies from Hornby? And there has been a price increase on these too.
  11. Just picked up the last run LNER hst mk3 coaches and it appears to have a painted blue line down the centre of the coach.
  12. You are correct. I have checked a few YouTube videos and the grill is not present. Mystery solved. Thanks
  13. It's the etched bit that should wrap around the exhaust. It's there on all the previous runs of Bachmann 150's. It's missing of both cars.
  14. Are the heat protection grills around the exhaust pipes missing on anyone else's? Is this how there supposed to be on the more modern livery versions? They are missing on mine.
