  1. I believe that Golden Valley Hobbies are the UK distributor for Tillig. I purchased mine through Pennine Models in Haworth and although Stuart didn't have all I needed in stock he got the balance in just a few days. Two years later the layout is no further forward, but the point-work looks superb and hopefully track laying will commence soon.
  2. I spoke with the guys from Oxford Rail at Glasgow last year, the Class B tankers are still on showing as a future release on their website and I seem to recall them saying that the models would probably release in 2022.
  3. I saw the sound equipped version being demonstrated to a potential customer earlier today and I'm now regretting buying the non-sound one. It ran like a dream out of the box and the sound sounded really good - I don't know the protoype but it sounded like there were two engines in the loco, just as it should do. the potential customer very quickly got his wallet out :-)
  4. Nice to see that some papers can still report properly, especially one that was once renowned for its typos. Really sad day for the model and hobby industry to see such headlines, it doesn't seem that long ago that Hornby under Frank Martin were the darlings of the City Pages. Let's hope that something positive can come out of this mess, not only for our hobby, but for all the staff at Hornby.
