  1. Right, go from scratch, connect both power cars back to back see what happens, coach lighting is always on so try each coach individually, you might need to swap bogies about, Is there any short circuiting?

I love my railway but not so good on the technicalities, how do I know if it's a short circuit?

  2. Hi, Sorry lot of TC's there, just to clarify, Lead loco PC-1 is working fine motion and should get directional lights, TC-1 the seating coach has working interior lighting, TC-2 the coach with the computer's in is not working? no interior lights or active computer lights, PC-2 trailing power car has motion and directional lighting, is this the correct set up?

Mostly right, PC-2 is completely dead though, no motion and no directional lights and TC-2 has no lights

  3. Hi, I have the Rapido APT-E silent version, I've had it from new but TC-2 has never shown any life in it, it's totally dead...TC-1 is fine and will work without being connected to TC-2, the coach linked to TC-1 is also fine and has lights but the coach linked to TC-2 has no lights...anyone any idea where the problem might lie and how to fix it?

  4. I have a DCC ready APT ordered from Locomotion models and I've already paid for it in full, I have no intention of selling mine on eBay or elsewhere but I don't have a problem with anyone who sells their models on eBay or elsewhere and I don't mind anyone who makes a profit...once you buy anything it becomes your property and your free to do anything you wish to with it.

  5. I see a lot of people on here including locomotion models are saying if you've not got your apt yet be patient and it'll arrive soon....I selected the "pick up at Shildon" option, locomotion models have stated on their website "Models in Stock" and then proceded to say they are working flat out to post them asap...I tried phoning all three numbers without success, texting the mobile without a reply, emailing with no reply to ask if I can pick my model up Saturday...then I thought, they are in stock, I don't really need to arrange anything and I'll drive down and get it...luckily I got the newsletter today saying they can't be picked up without an appointment and never at the weekend as the office and storage location is closed.

  6. Finally Wednesday is here and ive finally finished work and hope my dads picked it up from Shildon, ear defenders at the ready as Bill warned at York!

Cant wait to get home, feels like christmas..

I'm hoping to drive from Glasgow to Shildon on Saturday to pick up my DCC ready one, did you have to make any arrangements for pick up or did you just turn up?
  7. Although the eBay APT's look like they will make significantly more than the original purchase price does that mean I think Locomotion models should have charged more, no I don't, had they charged more then I wouldn't have been able to buy my DCC ready one and I'm sure I'm not the only person to think like me, I won't sell mine but if others choose to sell there's then that's a free market,,,locomotion models would have charged what they thought was a reasonable price.

  8. In preparation for sending the sets out I have to do the courier label. If you have an email it means I have made a label!

Right now I am in London for the model show at 'Ally Pally' so won't be shipping anything just yet. I will be at York show next weekend so shipping time this coming week will be very short. We will get SOME sent out but the majority will start to go out the following week. Please remember we are a very small team and Stuart and I will get them out as quickly as possible. If you have a notification keep tracking it and you will see when it's on it's way.

Everyone has waited such a long time for this model...just hang on a little longer!!

    Cheers

SandraWe are on stand 58 and have a set here so you can see for yourself if you are coming along to the show

Hi, I have paid in full for the DCC ready version and selected pick up at Shildon, when will models be ready to be picked up? Cheers
  9. I emailed Locomotion models a couple of days ago to ask if they had an updated delivery schedule for the DCC ready version but as yet no reply, I did see the finished article at Modelrail Scotland last week and it looks very impressive, I ordered the DCC version but I'm not sorry I never ordered the sound one even although I have a DCC layout because it was out of my price range so it was either the DCC ready version or I'd have to go without. I paid the £175 balance last Monday and although I stay in Scotland I'll drive to locomotion and pick it up, make a day of it and look around the museum.
