  1. Just had my notification of dispatch for mine which were ordered June 2021, so you might not have long to wait. Craig
  2. My guess is an 8F. Now the Manor is close too arriving. Another steam engine must be due.
  3. Really pleased that I managed to get a pack 1. Look forward to receiving it soon 🙂.
  4. How about 37116 'Sister Dora' in BR Blue with Transrail branding. I think it would be an interesting addition to the early privatisation era. Not my image. Craig
  5. Received my GT3 today and I'm really impressed with the locomotive, runs well out of the box and sounds great. Well done KR Model's. Worth the wait and good value for money. Look forward to the Fell in due course. Craig
  6. Brilliant news. Not sure if I will be going ahead with my order for the Heljan class 25. Look forward to seeing this develop in the next few months.
  7. Looks absolutely amazing the level of detail on the roof is spectacular. Really looking forward to receiving the few I have on order when they arrive. Keep up the good work chaps. Craig
  8. Expression of interest placed for GNER livery as that is how I remember seeing it on the ECML. Really hope this project goes ahead.
  9. Well I placed an order for D5021, as I live in North Staffordshire and I thought it would be rude not to get one.
  10. I have to agree with some of the comments above, I too received my 66789 and has a few niggles loose axlebox covers and a few other glue marks on the bogies, nothing that can't be fixed or covered with a little weathering. But overall the level of detail is quite stunning and as the sound fitted version is sold out I'm reluctant to return as I will not get a replacement. Overall I would give it a solid 8 out 10.
  11. Thanks to Dave for making things a little clearer on the mentioned issues. I have a question for Dave would it be able to fix the wiring issues for any further batchs of the class 66 in the future. Regards Craig
  12. Maybe it's a class 40 as that's pretty big as far as locos go, and would go well with the cemflos they have produced. Craig
  13. Was there any updated livery samples of the class 66 at the GC Event last weekend, or any update to say delivery is still on schedule for August. Regards Craig
  14. Don't know whether this has been said before, but this statement is now on the dj models website. It reads as follows : When i posted my release yesterday, little did i realise the reaction it would cause. So may i just clarify some bits here, which some seem to have missed entirely? My IP’s cover the external look of all my designs, not the internals, and do no prevent anyone making the same model. It does, however, as far as i understand it, prevent cloning and using my design cues. It will also make any fellow designer think about how they will design their model to not only be better (that cant be bad can it?) but to look better (and that cannot be bad either right?) Also as most of you know, i have not got use of my tools and there have been various mails on the internet by trolls saying that they can supply models from my tools. This protects DJM by making sure that although my tools can be sold on (after all i don’t have them in my possession in the UK) the new ‘owner’ wont be able to do anything with them, and neither will the factory they now reside in. Now this means they wont be able to make models from my tools to sell to UK shops, any of my models. Surely none of this is bad? If you purchased a house, would you protect your investment? (yes a bit trite i know, but a fair analogy) That’s all i’m doing. In the words of Corporal Jones ‘Dont Panic, Dont Panic’. I am not, and i hope this helps clarify things for everyone. Please try to see this as a good thing for myself and the industry as a whole, and the opportunities it will now present. Best to all. cheers Dave
  15. Yes that is probably true. I for one will no longer be willing to part with any more of my hard earned money in any of dj models crowd funding ventures. I have written of the £90 for the three class 92 I had on order. I will put my money Accurascales way instead, as at least there model will make it to market this century. Craig
  16. It strikes me that he is throwing his toys out of the pram a little, as new companies have shown how to announce projects and then get them to market in a reasonable time scale. Craig
  17. Yes I would be interested in D1000 in this Livery, as I too missed the STEAM limited edition. Craig.
  18. Hi Just a quick question to ask you all as to which decoder is the best fit for the Hornby class 08, as I can see that there is not a lot of room available inside the locomotive. Sorry if this has been asked before. Thanks Craig
  19. Thanks for support. Yeah I have contacted Rails of Sheffield to arrange an exchange. I have also asked for them to check the replacements before they are dispatched. Craig
  20. I received the 2 BR Livery Terriers today and both have arrived damaged. One had one its buffers completely detached from the locomotive, and the other had the tall route disc holder bent and the other missing in action. See pictures attached. Sorry for the quality a quick snap with my phone. A little bit disappointed with the quality control to say the least. Craig
  21. I too would be interested in being able to buy 92017 in stobart Livery if it became available. Craig
  22. I have decided to pay my £50 deposit for the GT3, as I think the fact that KR have joined the forum is a good sign and gave me a little more confidence. So I look forward to the project progressing in the coming months. Craig
  23. Just a couple of quick pictures of my HUO wagons on my layout. Sorry for the quality of the pictures taken on my phone. In my opinion they look even better when they're weathered. Craig
  24. Just a quick note to say that revolution are now taking expressions of interest for a new run of their fantastic N gauge TEA tanker wagons. Craig
