I'm supposed to be responsible for verifying every buyer on eBay before I buy from them? The item was listed as new. Ridiculous comment. If it were something expensive like a motor, they'd have a point. But quite clearly this is as part that costs a few pence to produce, so it's pretty mean spirited not to offer to send me some, or even the option to buy. Wouldn't get this nonsense from Rapido or someone with some class.

This was after I'd said I bought the pack new on eBay and that I'd seen other issues with this pack from other listings on eBay and elsewhere. Looks like a legitimate product to me, not sure how I'm supposed to check that anyway. Pretty pathetic yet completely predictable response from Hornsby's customer service, if you can call it that. To be clear my only ask was if they could send out some of the couplings, which must cost about 1p to produce, nothing more.

I'll experiment! But despite what it looks like, the distance between the coaches is the same as the Hornby couplings, so that there's enough space to negotiate 2nd radius curves. But will see what I can get away with

Just find it a bit bizarre that Hornby don't sell a pack of these as spares as they do their other couplings...

John's done a terrific job, have seen this before, sadly don't have the time at the moment to do but it does look great.

The Accurascale ones looks great but sadly seem to be NEM only (suitable for the Rapido Lion at least but not these). I'll have a root around and see if I have an old necklace chain I can convert instead !

Don't appear to be...a number of other listings for these on various websites say they don't contain couplings. Have sent Hornby a message but given how slow they are to respond, if others know where I can buy some of these couplings (or even the proper name or code for the part), I'd be grateful.

Hi folks...any idea where I can get hold of some more of the Hornby chain link couplings? I made the mistake of getting the 1930s coach pack...and unbelievably it doesn't come with any couplings. Been searching about 30 mins now and I can't see anyone selling them as spares. Pretty criminal really these things must cost about 1p to produce, how could they not included them in a £85 coach pack??? Screams into a pillow...

Sorry if this has been covered already...but does anyone else have a running plate that's slightly bent, causing the side panels to the rear of the cab to go slightly up on either side...and have you done anything to correct this? I'm not brave enough to take mine apart for fear of breaking it, especially since the GCR version isn't available any more

Have any new models been announced at the show this weekend? Just checking I've not missed anything. I thought Rapido were going to announce something new?
