  1. I have been using digitrax since 2000 year, and swap to Lenz in 2005, I also have tried Digikeijs, Z21 (white box), CS2 (marklin but used as DCC) and Uhlenbrock Intellibox for more than a year, after testing all of these I still prefer Lenz, the reason are: bulletproof quality, fantastic reliability, no need of continuous updating due to incompatibilities or bugs, and very simple to use. And if you need fancy functions (like locomotive icons, automatic operation, layout schemes, etc.) you just have to add a computer and a software, and you will have all for much less money. If I would be obliged to change I will select Intellibox, specially because you can go fully automatic operation without the need of a PC, nevertheless user manuals are rubbish and learning curve is way longer than lenz. My advice, stay with Lenz.

  2. Hello everyone, I'm Gustavo, I live in Viña del Mar, Chile. I have been modeling swiss H0 trains since I started in model railroading (1995). Actually I'm building my secobd layout with a mix of SBB/DB in the stardart gauge, and RHB/FO in narrow H0m gauge. Hope to learn from you and support in anything I can. If you are facebook user, I'm starting with a Lenz dcc forum, so everybody is invited to be part of. Search for "Lenz digital plus DCC forum". Regards from the end of the world. Gustavo
