Hi all, my work was moved to the new product. I am maiking hand controller for my command station. Here is a prototype video. What do you think about it? Have you got any idea? Now, it is only for TCS command station, but it will be for Z21 and Roco XpressNet, too. (I hope :-) ). The main issue, of this prototype is solving keypad - I want a keypad with letters, but the design is too expensive. I tried something like on the picture below, but there is missing Q and Z letter :-(.

Hi,
I am working on my implementation of the RS bus into my DCC command station. I was inspired from this: http://www.der-moba.de/index.php/RS-R%C3%BCckmeldebus I have this HW in the command station (on the right side):
I am sending 130 pulses right these pictures (to TX):
But I didn't get any response from the LDT RS8 feedback module. Could you help me please? Does anybody know, what am I doing bad?
I have another question: How can I set the right address of LDT RS8 module via DCC packet (without Lenz command station)? Which packet should I use?
Thank you very much!

Hi all, I wrote the article, how to use the RocRail for the beginners. The article is here: http://zavavov.vzap.eu/en/model-railway/control-your-model-railway-via-computer-guide-for-the-beginners/
Please, could you anybody check my english language and the informations in the article? Is it understandable?
Thank you very much! :-)

Just read this post and was amazed at how cool the big ginger pussy was with trains belting round "his domain".
My big ginger lad would be all over those noisy and irritating toys !!!
It was the first, what I teached the cat, when we bought it :-) It knows, that it mustn't touch the trains :-D

Whereas my Hogwarts Express model has decided it's no longer going to work :/
It was working, but then all of a sudden it's just stopped. Looked at the connections to the motor - all seem okay. Pickups all appear okay; it's just dead
I have the same issue, when I bought this model. It is old model and I had to open the motor, clean everything and put new carbons with springs. After that, I cleaned all wheels and now, it is working properly :-) It is like new locomotive :-)
I have a new sign for the front of the locomotive with "Hogwarts Express" yet, I have to glue it on the locomotive :-)

My dream came true :-)
I have my own Hogwarts expres model in DCC with sounds :-) I am really happy!
If you want se, how I placed the decoder into locomotive and how iy it working now, you can watch these videos :-)

Hi,
I updated my command station, I added XpressNet Li-ETH protocol and now, I can control my trains from computer via RocRail. I made video and wrote the guide. The guide is still only in czech language, but I want translate it into english, too.

I wish I could use this app to control my stuff via the Digikeijs dr5000
This application has own protocol for communication with command station. I don't know protocol of the DR5000.

Hi all,
The Android application for control model trains via DCC command station TCS is now available in Goolge Play for all and free! You can try it, there is included DEMO application, too!
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.tcs.app
The language of the application is Czech and English (selectable).

Hi friends,
I have news about my own DCC command station! I added XpressNet and testing it with Roco MultiMAUS. Now I can control trains and accessory via Android and MultiMAUS simultaneously.
More you can see on the video. First control one train via Android, one train via MultiMAUS and then two trains via two different throttles. On the end of the video is demonstration of control turnouts via Android phone, Android tablet and MultiMAUS simultaneously.
Bonus: Our cat check the speed in the critical section.

Hi all,
I have done my first working DCC command station controled via Android application!
Yesterday, I tested three Android devices to control my model railway.More information on my webpage: http://www.zavavov.cz/Price will be around €189. Now for testing is price €99 + shipping.

New information about my DCC command station.
- made prototype HW board
- firmware update from Android application
- working on XpressNet bus
- I am thinking about put schematic and firmware binary for free.

Are you looking to have two controllers control one train? MOST systems won't let you do that - you have to "steal" control from another user.
Are you taking about controlling two trains with one controller? That's very different. Most systems including the NanoX can do this.
I have both in my command station. Two and more controllers can control trains, but one train can be controlled only by one controller. Not can be "steal" control.
And I can control two or more trains from one device (controller). It is very simple.

Well, there is a very simple DCC system that can be built with the possibility of computer, android and iPhone control. It's also Lenz/Roco/Xpressnet compatible so you can also use commercial hand throttles.
It's very simple - just 2 IC's, 2 voltage regulators and a handful of resistors. It's called the NanoX. You can see it here - http://usuaris.tinet.cat/fmco/nanox_en.html
The computer adapter (which allows for automatic control thru JMRI or Rocrail + wireless control) is also simple - just 3 chips, a crystal and some caps - you can see it here - http://usuaris.tinet.cat/fmco/lokmaus_en.html#genli
This website also has plans for 3 different throttles (including wireless), boosters, S88, etc. If you use Rocrail to control it - you can use the android app.
All the plans and codes are free - he even has PCB designs so you can get your own boards made.
Hi, I know NanoX. It is very simple and good command station. But there is some things, that it isn't too good. For example, that two throttles can control one train in one time. It is bad.
My plan is add XpressNet and protocol of ROCO Z21. Then you can use commercial throttles and applications, too.
Next thing is, that I want very simple settings and universal for all model railroads. Next step is simple railroad layout on tablet or PC for control train ways. But I want simple all applications, all settings. It must be free (or very cheap) and simple. Every knowledge it must be in DCC command station. Something like server.

Hi all, I have new videos of this command station. New version of software. And I have a team. I am wokring on it with some my friends. We are planning software for computer and other platforms.
Here are videos:
Have you got any questions? Or any idea?
If you want donate this project, you can do it in contact page on my website: http://www.zavavov.cz/en/contact/ (this website is from Czech Republic and it is safe).
Thank you

Now, it is project for me and for my model railroads. I want add making "train roads" automaticaly. Something like in real railroads.
I understand, that ot is one person project. When I found somebody, who want making on it and get some money to it, then it will be bigger project.
Now, it is my hobby

Do you want something like that? What price is best? Or without price (free)? What do you think?
It is based on NXP Freedom K64F (Kinetis) and controled via LAN network.

Hi all,
I made new product which can control model railway from hands with speed wheel and it is wireless! It can control my TCS command station, but it is compatible with Roco Z21, DR5000 and more!
