  1. Hi Michael H,

the motor is loose in the chassis at the moment as I (hopefully) await a replacement!!  Any ideas on a motor that might squeeze into the space available?

Thanks for your interest in my very mundane problem...important to me though, of course,

    John

  2. Hi roythebus,

sorry for the tardy response to your very kind message.  I'm newish to RMWeb and thought I would be alerted to any response.

Here's a photo of the dreaded HP2M....mostly hated it would appear but I have a Ks Fowler tank with one installed and it still runs OK.

I think it was my fault that the Terrier motor went AWOL!

Anyway, if you can help I would be very grateful,

    thanks

    John

  4. Hi everyone,  I know this sounds barmy but I need a much maligned K's HP2M Motor to get a K's Terrier, made 40 years ago, on the move again. Can you help this septuagenarian get his little darling working?

  5. Hi David,  thanks for your thoughts.  I am attaching a pic of the motor.I'm not sure if it is a Ks Mk 1 or Mk 2....maybe you can help me on that. (The loco has the usual rusty wheels!).

From what you say, it would appear I need a new Ks motor.....are they still available?

I have a Ks motor that works OK in a Ks Fowler 2-6-2 tank engine ....but that needs to stay where it is!

    Again, thanks for your ideas

    John
