I'm in the process of building a shed in my back garden for my planned EM layout. Knowing virtually zero about electrics I'm wondering if I could use the power of a series of solar panels on the south facing roof to supply power, for the proposed layout and also lighting and heating, this rather than running a mains from the house. I'd certainly welcome any input.

A very well thought out and planned inner city terminus, I will follow your progress with great interest.

Absolutely fantastic Permanent Way, your layout shows EM Gauge at its very best and has fully justified my decision to go EM on my planned layout.
I'll follow your progress with great interest.
Have done a couple of conversions of Steam Locomotives to EM and can only add that the wait and cost of Ultrascale wheels has proved the correct course of action for me.
Now need the time to master the use of the Software.
Thanks for sharing.

Very much looking forward to seeing your progress in person at expoNorth, well worth the trip from way down south for this alone, your previous layout was a revelation and a wake up call to get some modelling done, your progress in this endevour and sense of purpose truly astounds me.

Absolutely astounding layout, any idea of the radius of the track on the spiral and last but not least what size of room do you have avaliable. I will certainly watch this layout with great interest.

Cracking layout, very impressed with the coal drop very atmospheric.
I can well see why you are favourite with the local kids, good on ya.
What radius curves are you using, some of them look quite tight.

I've pondered for some time regarding modelling in EM gauge, however, having taken the plunge and becoming a member of the EM Gauge Society some time ago , the addition of ready to lay EM gauge trackwork from the society, with left and right hand EM turnouts to be added, is a timely addition, I'm intrigued with your choice of a double slip, something that the (LMS.) 1960's era demands. I will follow your progress with great interest.
