G'day Andy,
Just going back to your difficulties with assembling the Signal Box, I presume it's cast in Polyurethane. If so, the only successful adhesive, other than contact adhesive, is Superglue ( Cyanoacrylate ).
I've been manufacturing model railway kits and accessories in Polyurethane for over 25 years, and my recommendation is to roughen or abrade the faces of the joints to be glued. This can be done with emery or similar, or scraping with a knife blade or file.
After doing this the superglue will/should go off very quickly, whereas if not treated this way I have found that the superglue will not go off at all.
I have found that even the cheap superglues will work well after this basic preparation.

No activity in a week now? Hope everything is OK.

Cheers Cameron, it could be exhibited, and it certainly would have been by me before my Heart Attack, but I toil at a slower pace at home now, and just attend shows with my camera I'm afraid.
Thanks again for your interest.

Building another kit l got at Telford this time its a MTA (spoil wagon) lovely kit and going together well..
G'day George,
What's the irregular top edge of the wagon side? Not an injection moulded kit I'm guessing?

l bought a Heljan 37 two weeks ago in BR Blue, but after talking to Andy we decided to swap locos, so l now have a Railfreight Coal sector 37, it was un-named so l have finished her of as 37328 with Toton plaques probably wrong but they changed around so much it doesn't matter that much to me...
G'day George, that looks great, but a bit modern for me.
Andy suggested I ask you what the Guards Van is/was that you recently gave him. It's a red one, on his latest post images with his new split headcode 37.
I've been looking for something like it, but not found one yet!
Regards from down under,
Ian.

I'm not sure, it was built by George T of tis Parish, and he gave it to me recently, a question to him and he will let you know, his posts and thread links can be found on here, or in the Kit Building section, http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/55033-georgets-7mm-workbench/page-113&do=findComment&comment=3288074 .
Thanks Andy, I'll track him down and ask the question.

Thanks Mickey !
G'day mudmagnet,
I've following this with interest for a while now, but just curious as to how wide the board is/was? I'm guessing 6 inch or thereabouts, but it just goes to prove the theory that it doesn't have to be big to impress!
Happy New Yew Year from downunder,
Ian.

Wouldn't that be 3 feet at 4mm scale and not 12 feet?
