  2. A few years ago I got roped into building wagons for Aylesbury our MRC P4 layout, I have built a few given to me by the club, my 1st complete wagon is a Jidenco Engineers Wagon, updated to a winkle as I could not find the correct DC3 brake gear, scratch underframe from Bill Bedford, Ultrascale, Albion Alloys, body side bracing from Kenline. Transfers Railtec & HMRS I have a Shark to Oyster nearing completion. Last years entry to our clubs competition, Bachman anchor tank Rumney chassis https://www.rdmrc.org.uk/lib/exe/detail.php?id=competitions%3Awheeltapper_2023&media=competitions:wheeltapper2023:ian_1_.jpg Ian G
  3. Good show lots of very good layouts, but didnt think much of the trade stands Ian G
  4. I have been a member of Risborough MRC for a little bit longer than Railex, yes the main hall is better than the bowls hall but only just for it height, both suffer from heat, big tin roof on main hall, lower roof on bowls hall. Unlike some shows that are on different levels ours being on an accessible for all level is better for all. I am normally on car park duties some years it has been extremely hot others totally wet, the weather is for ever changing. Catering has been an issue for many years depending on catering staff availability, it is a sports hall for others as well. Please support the exhibition team lots of hard work goes into trying to keep every one happy, but you cant please every one. Ian G
