Hello forum members just after some advice .I have been considering a insulated garden room size 1.8 metres by 2 metres to house a small end to end layout and workbench for all year round use.My other alternative is to insulate a concrete sectional garage which is 8 foot by 16 foot and build a tailchaser layout. The garden room would be around £8000 with electrics to house.Garage already has power and light to main fuseboard in house(full house rewire done in June).Am I wasting money in the garage option no matter how much I spend. The garage does need a good clearout as it is being used for storage after the house rewire.Garage is separate from house at end of driveway

Now that the new station at Warrington West is due for opening in a couple of months. The station is built on land that was previously RAF Burtonwood which had a rail connection to the Cheshire Lines route from Liverpool to Manchester . I have often thought of modelling the area with a smaller version of the airfield does anyone on the forum know what diesel shunters the base used.I have seen photos of military vehicles on flatbed wagons but no photos of any locos
many thanks for any info

Following this thread with interest.Still undecided to either have a garden room insulated etc or a concrete shed and insulate that add power and light.Looked at sheds and wonder about the best base for them wooden platform provide by shed firm during installation, flags or a concrete base my least favoured option prices have gone up and delivery/installation dates are effected by covid
