It is indeed on a Hornby 14xx chassis. So much easier than the Airfix version

34 had her maiden run on the test track at work today and I'm pleased to say she ran quite well. I'll need to add as much weight in the boiler as possible next, but I couldn't resist posing 34 with a nice Hornby 4 wheel coach

Hi Tony, 34's chassis is a pair of GBL 57xx chassis cut and shut. The smokebox and boiler are from a Mainline Dean Goods cut so the dome is closer to the front of the loco. The cab is from a GBL C class with scratchbuilt side overlay/tanks. The bunker is cut and shut from a pair of Wrenn/Hornby Dublo R1 bunkers. Hope this of use to you!
