Hi Steve,
Good to hear you find it interesting.
The software came with the laser unit (free). I haven't tried any others as I am more than happy with the cut2D, very easy to use.
What issues do you have with the ProgeCAD?
Cheers
Mick

Hi Petertg,
That's brilliant to hear, someone that travelled the line. I wish I'd seen it before it was all demolished. I'm a little younger (55) and only recall the lines as we called them and some odd railway reminents.
I lived with my parents in AB until I moved to Kippax in my early twenties and then to Crossgates and Whitkirk later on.
We lived in a small estate behind the King Edward working men's club and the mineral line that joined the main passenger line at Bowers Junction ran at the bottom of my parents garden. I can recall seeing the Diesel class 37's (I think) pass pulling a rake of coal wagons.
We spent a lot of our childhood playing on the lines and getting in trouble.
I'm always on the look out for photos of the area, so if you come across any please let me know.

The photo was taken sometime after the Halt was pulled down

Hi islandbridgejct,
Too kind......
Yes correct the track is elevated and it falls away on both sides.
Here's a view from the field on the other side.

Thanks for comments 5&9Models
I'll post my progress with the SB over the coming weeks, with some insight on how I construct them.

I'll add a photo when I work out how to do it as part of the conversation HELP

Hi 5&9Models,
Sorry I should have explained, it's a laser cuter. It allows for very accurate cutting of various materials. I mainly use plywood between 0.6 and 3 mm thickness.

Hi Steve,
I see Vetric the cut2D creators have a trial version. Maybe evaluate this and see if it's for you?
