  1. Hi Dave It's been a long time since I sorted this chassis out.The only modifications I made was to the compensation rocking cradle which I made removable from the chassis and to fit Alan Gibson 4mm scale plunger pick ups. As for the lack of clearance between the crosshead and the leading wheel crankpin,I used Markits 4mm scale threaded crankpins and threaded bushes instead of the standard Slaters crankpins and bushes.I think I also may have modified the motor/gearbox mounting aswell. I hope this helps. Tim
  2. Will this loco cope with PECO settrack curves and points or is the wheel base too long? Tim
  3. We thought about using Karlgarin code 100 rail but we had plenty of redundant Peco code 100 in stock so we went down the Peco route. Tim
  4. The're made by Micro Engineering and are available from EDM Models. Tim
  5. It looks like an XLR connector.Look on the Rapid Electronics web site. Tim
  6. I bought 4 Setrack points before Christmas and 3 had defective tie bars, but they were not out of gauge.I contacted the PECO Technical Advice Bureau who asked me to return the defective points and they said that they would replace them as soon as possible.Within a week 3 replacement points arrived in the post. If anyone has a problem with these points I strongly recommend them to contact PECO through their Technical Advice Bureau either by phone,01297 21542 or by e-mail:info@pecobeer.co.uk Usual disclaimer. Tim
  7. The building contained the loco works weighbridge.
  8. Eileens Emporium list both sizes in brass strip. Tim
  9. Hattons now have them on their web site for pre-order at £43.00.
  10. The buildings belonged to BR and were used by either the Civil Engineers or the P Way departments but by 1992 they may have been sold off.In the fence that ran between these buildings and the goods line there was a small gate opposite the waiting room but again by 1992 this could have been removed. Tim
  11. The 7mm NGA had the Slaters L&B brake coach, the injection plastic kit,on their stand through out Sunday. The vehicle was 80% finished, but what was there was outstanding.David White told me that the vehicle will be able to run on 14mm or 16.5mm track and should be available early 2017 and cost around the £60 mark.Plenty of people photographed the coach but I didn't. Tim
  12. Neil Regarding the China Clay wagon, you need a GWR Dia.013 wagon,Parkside do the 4mm version and I have some 7mm scale resin body kits.I could let you have one or two,for a reasonable price of course! I've also found an interesting small loco for you,a Baguley-Drewry 0-4-0 std. gauge shunter(Petrol or Diesel engine)with a wheel base of 5'6" and 3'1" wheels. Remind me before Thursday and I'll bring a Dia.013 wagon with me to the Brunswick, aswell as the Baguley-Drewry book. Cheers Tim
