  1. At least they're being honest! Looks like a Nikola Tesla experiment.
  2. Likewise. I didn't buy much from them but had one last pickover...
  3. I'm not kicking up a fuss? Most of what you have said is in line with what I have said so I'm a bit puzzled. As I've already said, Hattons won't be maximising the potential of the tooling as they have already said that batch 3 won't be happening, but hopefully another entity will purchase the tooling so there will be more future models. Again, I've already said this.
  4. Agree entirely but with today's announcement, that's not going to happen.
  5. The Genesis range is a significant asset - I would be surprised if it doesn't get sold to someone. Highly unlikely to be Accurascale as with the 66 of course but several other possibilities - a "watch this space" situation I think.
  6. Sad news :( Best wishes to all the staff and proprietors. The same of course to their suppliers.
  7. I have a friend who when asked by an Australian immigration official if he had any convictions replied "I didn't know it was still a pre-requisite to have one". Now Aussies DO have a sense of humour but I suspect they had heard that one before....
  8. Might I suggest donning protective gear, and a water pistol?
  9. Interesting - wonder if they were linked to the company that produced asbestos insulating board "asbestolux"- then the non-asbestos "supalux" version.
  10. You mean this whole thing is a wind-up?
  11. Sadly anything "live" would be better off if chimps wrote the articles. I think they use AI - Artificial Idiots.
  12. I wonder if anyone ever ticked the box to say they were involved in terrorism?
  13. Anything here? https://clarkrailworks.com/products/copy-of-clark-railworks-oo-ho-gauge-loco-box-340mm Not what you are looking for but if anyone is looking for multiples then these are really good: https://trainsporters.com/
  14. Loose women? Perhaps WCRC could hire in some stock? Anyone got any CDL fitted spare? 😁
  15. Normally DPD would be my go-to and when getting stuff sent to my home they still are. But the one on the round at work recently hit one of my colleague's cars and denied all knowledge - had to send the CCTV to them to get anything done. Earlier this week got a "no-one there" email - you can SEE someone in the window in the photo!
  16. Did the IRM/Accurascale guys think they'd be making a post like this: less than 10 years on? Simply outstanding achievement.
  17. This sign is obviously because it's now a tourist attraction but still raises a chuckle - But how about this one? One of those "worst kept secrets" - let's pretend that a high security MoD place is actually a point where motorway maintenance units can go. Except the rules say the sign needs to be red because it's military based 🤡
  18. It sounds like you've already had a wee dram or two 😜
  19. Please don't saddle us with more tanks.
  20. My parents have a few tall trees, and they get them inspected by tree surgeons at least twice a year due to the proximity of neighbouring buildings, and because it's the right thing to do. Fairly early last year, someone from one of the neighbouring houses knocked to let them know he had gained a horizontal tree overnight. It was half a 60+ft poplar, that has been inspected less than a month before. Amazingly, it landed neatly alongside the rear wall of this person's house - all he could see out the back door and windows was foliage. The only damage caused was to two fence panels and the adjoining post, and some trim had been knocked off a shed. Amazing really! As with yours - looked absolutely fine to the trained eye.
  21. Cor, that brings back memories!
