Hope it goes better than when WH Smith acquired the Modelzone brand...

It would depend a lot on what you want to do with it. It's unlikely to have had a huge amount of traffic as a pure redirector, because it won't crop up in any search results. But it would be a good choice of domain for a website about model railways, because then the domain name will match the content and that's a positive signal for search engines.
Or Rails could buy it and just use it as a redirect. Ho hum.

having read I a lot of comments on this subject, and been privileged to know some additional information, the problem is not the lack of young people getting involved in the hobby, but the lack of young people who have the skills or the aptitude to carry it out running a large exhibition
That's just ageism.

They have other means to communicate - FaceBook, Twitter, Instagram and probably others I am too old to be aware or bothered with.
I don't hold with the fact that age is a factor in not knowing about things. The internet has been around for what, thirty years at least? We should all know how to use it by now.

Of course tiktoks with identity influencers saying "I identify as a railway modeler and my pronouns are choo/chuff".
Hmmm That would probably work actually....
Yeah, that'll get them on board 🙄

The Vintage Classics range is quite popular with stockists from Arundel to Aberdeen.
As ex-staff of a company in one of those locations, I'm not as ignorant as some may make out... One might say that they may be popular with stockists, but are they popular with customers?

Which presumably customers are buying otherwise they wouldn’t do it. New models being released as well.
They are trading off the name though, granny is more likely to buy an Airfix Sherman than a Revell one, little Johnny never knows that better kits exist.

Airfix has flourished under Hornby's custodianship.
Still churning out 50 year old kits from knackered moulds

How do Warlord make their products? Do they have access to dedicated injection moulding facilities or are they perhaps 3D printing experts? Both those things might be very attractive and synergistic to Hornby.
Pretty sure all of their production is in-house in Nottingham.

Ignore GW, they are a whole different market to Warlord's. I would say Warlord are the Hornby of wargaming (read into that what you will...)

Does anyone know when these are due into stock seeing as the others have hit the shelves?
