    When you plan a layout of Cambridge station, I forgot that it has the 3rd longest platform in the UK. That'll be 4 straight lengths if flexi track

      I've had an 'inspired by Cambridge' idea rattling around my head for a while, but it only involved half the length. In my imaginary world the main platform and loops along side disappear under a big footbridge just after the signature scissors (Just enough on scene to show the nose of the train in the next bit of the platform). Still leaves enough on scene for scissors, 1 main platform, stock loops (half hidden to disguise compressed train length), and bay platforms.

      I was originally going to model when the class 86s 87s 89 90s and 91s were rummaging about. Who knows? Maybe one day I'll have the room to build it full scale- now that would be something
